The Opportunity
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you'll be at the engine room of our finance operations — processing transactions accurately, claiming through the NDIS portals correctly, and keeping our reconciliations and records audit-ready.
It's a role for someone who likes getting the detail right the first time, works methodically, and wants to build their finance career inside a values-driven, fast-scaling NDIS provider.
Key Responsibilities
Process supplier invoices, employee expense claims and credit card reconciliations accurately and on time
Prepare and submit NDIS payment claims through the PRODA / PACE portal, in line with NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits
Complete daily head-office bank reconciliations and prepare payment runs for review and authorisation
Raise customer and intra-group invoices; monitor receivables and follow up overdue accounts
Reconcile payroll against employment contracts, the SCHADS Award and CareMaster timesheet data; support superannuation, PAYG withholding and STP finalisation
Administer participant funds in line with the NDIS Practice Standards and relevant SA guardianship and administration requirements
Deliver accurate, timely end-of-month reporting, accruals and reconciliations
Maintain supplier master data and audit-ready workpapers, with proper change-control on bank details and ABNs
Contribute to the continuous improvement of finance processes, systems and documentation
About You
We're looking for someone who brings:
Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping (or equivalent)
3+ years of practical finance, bookkeeping or assistant accounting experience
Solid grounding in double-entry bookkeeping, BAS preparation, payroll and bank reconciliation
Proficiency in a mainstream accounting platform (Xero, MYOB or similar)
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel
Experience with NDIS claiming through PRODA / PACE — or a clear ability to learn it quickly
Strong attention to detail and discretion handling sensitive financial, employee and participant information (Privacy Act 1988 (Cth))
Clear communication, including the ability to explain financial matters to non-finance colleagues
Alignment with Tibii's mission and values
✨ Bonus if you have:
Tertiary qualifications in accounting or finance, or progress toward CA, CPA or IPA membership
Prior experience with an NDIS-registered provider, or in disability, aged care or community services
Working knowledge of the SCHADS Award and its payroll implications
Exposure to participant or client trust funds and the associated control requirements
Experience supporting external audits or NDIS Commission reviews
Clearances
This role requires a valid NDIS Worker Screening Check and National Police Check (or the ability to obtain them).
