Finance Officer

We are seeking an experienced Finance Officer to support billing, revenue processing and financial administration functions within a busy healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process patient billing, accounts and revenue transactions.
• Maintain accurate financial and patient records.
• Investigate and resolve billing enquiries.
• Perform reconciliations and support revenue reporting activities.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders, patients and third-party providers regarding account matters.

Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience in hospital or private practice billing.
• Strong understanding of healthcare revenue processes, Medicare and private health fund billing.
• Experience using EMR and Sunrise systems is mandatory.
• High attention to detail and strong data entry accuracy.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
