RECEPTIONIST/ ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT

About the business and the role

Lindbloms Lawyers is a busy medium-sized law firm situated in Unley, specialising in family law, personal injury, medical negligence, and wills & estates. Tasks include answering telephone calls, greeting clients, recording/costing/photocopying and scanning of incoming & outgoing mail, photocopying briefs, creating new files, daily filing and file maintenance, general typing, diary management, and upkeep of staff amenities and meeting rooms. This is a permanent full-time role working Monday to Friday, 9.00 am - 5.00 pm.

Job tasks and responsibilities

  • Answering phones

  • Greeting Clients

  • Photocopying briefs

  • Daily filing

  • File maintenance

  • Diary management

  • Upkeep of the kitchen and meeting rooms

  • General secretarial duties, including dictation typing

Skills and experience

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Experience with Microsoft Office software

  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy

  • Proactive and exceptionally organised

  • Ability to prioritise and remain focused under pressure

  • Have a professional and friendly phone manner

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to work autonomously

Desirable skills

  • Experience in a Law Firm

  • Dictalogic

  • Lexis Nexis Affinity

  • Audio typing is preferred
