Administration Assistant – Executive Support (Part-Time) Detmold Group

We are looking for a smart, switched-on Administration Assistant to provide dedicated support to our Executive Chairman on a part-time basis.

This is a lovely role for someone who genuinely enjoys keeping things organised, takes pride in doing the small things well, and brings a warm, professional manner to everything they do.

Working pattern: 3 days per week – Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday (8:30am start) is preferred however we are open

About the Role

Supporting our Executive Chairman directly, you'll be his right hand for the day-to-day, keeping his diary in order, managing correspondence, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks.

The work itself is steady and structured rather than high pressure. What matters most is that you're reliable, precise, confidential and proactive, someone who takes ownership of their work and brings calm, competent support to a busy Executive Chairman.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the Executive Chairman's diary and appointments
  • Handle incoming correspondence and draft responses as needed
  • Coordinate meetings, scheduling and straightforward travel arrangements
  • Prepare and collate monthly Board packs with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Input and maintain data across spreadsheets and documents
  • Provide general administrative support and assist with ad hoc tasks as they arise

About You

You don't need to have worked in a high pressure corporate environment, but you do need to be the kind of person who takes pride in organised, careful work and enjoys supporting someone at a senior level.

You'll bring:

  • Solid experience in an administration or executive assistant role
  • Confident, practical Excel skills, comfortable with data entry and spreadsheet management
  • Strong attention to detail, especially when preparing documents or reports
  • Excellent written communication and a polished, professional manner
  • Good common sense and the ability to manage your time well across a 3-day week
  • Discretion and trustworthiness this is a role with access to sensitive information
  • A warm, approachable style and the ability to build a good working relationship
