About the Role

We are seeking a part-time Undergraduate Accountant in their final years of university study to join our tax and business services team.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical, real-world experience while completing your degree, with a clear pathway to a full-time graduate position upon completion of studies.

Working closely with team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with preparation of financial statements and income tax returns

  • Supporting BAS and compliance work for a range of clients

  • Assisting with bookkeeping and management reporting tasks

  • Contributing to business advisory and tax engagements

  • Liaising with team members to deliver quality client outcomes

You will play an integral role in each engagement and gain exposure to a wide range of industries and clients.

About You

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Currently in final years of an Accounting or related degree

  • Minimum requirement of 2nd year of study in Accounting or related degree

  • A strong interest in tax and business services

  • High attention to detail and accuracy

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and general IT systems

  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a small team environment
