About the role

We're looking for an experienced Payroll Manager to lead our payroll function in a fast-paced labour hire environment. This is a hands-on role with one direct report, ideal for someone who knows agency payroll, understands awards and EBAs, and takes pride in delivering accurate, compliant payroll every week.

What you'll be doing

Lead end-to-end weekly payroll across labour hire and recruitment operations
Manage one direct report while staying hands-on in payroll delivery
Oversee FastTrack360 setup, maintenance, pay and bill rules, and client onboarding
Ensure compliance across awards, EBAs, payroll tax, super, STP and other statutory obligations
Support invoicing, reporting, year-end processes and operational payroll queries
Partner with finance and operations teams to keep payroll running smoothly and accurately

What you'll bring

Strong Australian payroll experience in labour hire, recruitment or another high-volume environment
Solid knowledge of awards, EBAs and payroll compliance requirements
Confidence leading a small team while remaining hands-on
FastTrack360 experience highly regarded
Excellent attention to detail, judgement and communication skills
