Senior Risk and Audit Analyst

Renewal SA is seeking a driven Senior Risk & Audit Analyst to support effective risk management and internal audit outcomes across the organisation.

In this key role, you’ll partner with stakeholders to strengthen risk practices, coordinate internal audit activities, and provide expert advice to ensure compliance, transparency and continuous improvement across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on risk management and internal audit requirements, supporting compliance with legislative and organisational frameworks.
• Coordinate internal audit activities, including planning, stakeholder engagement and liaison with outsourced audit providers.
• Monitor and track audit findings and management actions to ensure timely implementation and closure.
• Identify and assess regulatory, compliance and operational risks, and implement strategies to mitigate risks.
• Develop and maintain risk registers and prepare high-quality reports, including committee papers, executive briefings and audit documentation.

About you

You’re a detail-oriented and proactive risk professional who can translate complex risk and audit concepts into clear, practical advice. You build strong relationships and support business units to manage risk effectively.

You will bring:

• Experience in risk management, internal audit, compliance or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical and writing skills and the ability to interpret legislation, policies and frameworks.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence outcomes.
• Experience coordinating audits, managing risk registers and preparing professional reports.
• A relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. risk, finance, accounting, law or compliance) or equivalent experience.
