Terminal Logistics Specialist – Aurizons Gillman Terminal, Adelaide (Gillman)

Aurizon’s Gillman Terminal is looking for a strong coordinator to support the delivery of efficient and reliable logistics services. This role blends planning, customer support, and operational coordination to keep daily activities running smoothly while ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate day-to-day logistics and service requirements
  • Manage enquiries, orders, variations, and service expectations
  • Support planning and scheduling activities across multiple business areas
  • Help optimise the use of assets and resources
  • Review commercial data and support cost recovery activities
  • Build productive working relationships and contribute to a positive customer experience
Qualifications
  • Strong coordination and communication skills, with the ability to influence effectively
  • Qualifications or experience in supply chain, planning/scheduling, asset management, project management, or business studies
  • Comfortable working in a shift-based environment and managing the demands that come with flexible hours
  • Understanding of rail networks or Bulk Supply Chain performance (or willingness to learn)
  • Solid commercial and logistical awareness
  • Experience in rail, transport, heavy logistics or similar industries (preferred but not essential)
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, think ahead, and optimise asset use
  • Experience supporting logistics or operational planning within a commercial environment
