About the Role

Securecorp is excited to offer an opportunity for a Couple Casual Security Officers to join our team at Festival Tower in South Australia. This role is ideal for individuals who are professional, reliable, customer-focused, and capable of working across a range of security operations in a dynamic environment.

As part of the role, you will:

  • Deliver exceptional security and customer service
  • Guard, patrol, monitor, and control assigned premises
  • Respond to emergencies and alarm events, providing essential support
  • Assess and address potential risks
  • Manage access control
  • Write incident reports and maintain accurate data logs
  • Conduct internal and external patrols across multiple floors, stairwells, and plant areas

Rostered Hours:

  • Casual varying hours
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and public holidays is essential

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for clients, staff, and visitors
  • Monitor and control site access and security systems
  • Respond promptly and effectively to incidents and emergencies
  • Conduct routine patrols and risk assessments
  • Complete incident reporting and maintain accurate records
  • Support senior staff and make sound decisions when required
  • Deliver professional customer service at all times

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A current SA Security Licence with Crowd Control 
  • Valid First Aid and CPR certification
  • Strong presentation, communication, and customer service skills
  • Confidence using computers, including Microsoft Office, CCTV systems, and access control systems
  • Basic understanding of fire panel/fire indicator systems (training provided where required)
  • Physical fitness and confidence working across stairs, multiple floors, and heights
  • Strong initiative and the ability to think quickly in challenging situations
  • Reliability, punctuality, integrity, and a positive attitude
  • Previous corporate or retail security experience is advantageous but not essential
  • Availability to work across a 24/7 rotating roster preferred
