About Us

At Nextgen Accountants, you’ll take ownership of your own portfolio, work with business owners, and grow into a senior role in a supportive, no-ego team.

The Role

You’ll work with a range of SME clients (up to $10M turnover), combining compliance with real advisory exposure.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage your own client portfolio

• Prepare financial statements and tax returns (companies, trusts, individuals, SMSF)

• Work directly with clients on a regular basis

• Support tax planning and advisory work

• Identify opportunities to add value

• Review junior work as you grow in the role

About You

We’re open to strong Intermediates ready to step up, or early Seniors.

Must have:

• 5+ years public practice experience

• Strong tax and compliance knowledge

• Experience with companies, trusts, and individuals

• Confident communicator with clients

• Advisory exposure (tax planning, structuring, or client guidance)

• Experience reviewing work or supporting junior staff

• Solid Xero experience

Salary & Benefits

$90,000 – $120,000 FTE + Super (depending on experience)
