Accounts Assistant

Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, this role provides administrative and accounting support to the Finance Team while contributing to the efficient operation of our growing farming business.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has strong attention to detail, and takes pride in delivering accurate and timely work.

• Manage and action emails across multiple finance inboxes

• Process vendor and customer invoices, remittances, and data entry tasks

• Complete bank reconciliations

• Reconcile and process monthly credit card statements

• Assist with monthly stocktake activities (including occasional early morning starts)

• Support end-of-month reporting processes

• Provide general office administration support, including filing and document management

• Assist senior management and the wider Finance Team as required

• Undertake ad hoc administration and finance duties

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant, Administration, or similar role

• Experience with data entry and accounting software

• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong organisational and time management skills

• The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

• Professional communication and interpersonal skills

• A positive, reliable, and team-focused attitude

Experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central will be highly regarded but is not essential.
